MIDDLETON, Andrew William - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Andrew after a courageous battle with brain cancer at the age of 36.  Andrew went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2009 in the early morning. 

Loving husband of Lynn (nee Lapointe) for 10 years.  Cherished and devoted father of Ian and Christian.  Loving son of William (Bill) and Sharon.  Survived by his brother Chris (Sara) and sister Wendy (Nate).  Dear uncle to Kathryn, Sadie, Jude and Phineas. 

Son-in-law of Suzanne Lapointe and Louis Lapointe (Kathy) and brother-in-law of Angelle Lapointe.  Andrew was a dedicated paramedic for over 15 years.  He enjoyed the great outdoors, canoeing and bicycling with his son Ian.  Andrew will be loving remembered and greatly missed by all who shared in his life.  The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the health care professionals, family, friends and co-workers for their endless support, care and compassion. 

Friends will be received at BUTLER FUNERAL HOME (424 Niagara St., St. Catharines 905-646-6322) on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. 

Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church (10 Arlington Ave.).  Private interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre (699 Concession St., Hamilton, ON L8V 5C2) would be appreciated by the family.
